The ancient coins offered for auction this week have come to us from a multi-million dollar estate that includes 0,000.00 worth of fine watches, 5,000.00 worth of fine Turkish rugs, 5,000.00 in diamonds and gems, and much more.
That said, we know absolutely zippo about ancient coins. So, what you see is what you get.
Each auction has two photos. One showing the front of the coins and the other showing the obverse. The same small envelope, that contains the shown coins, is in both. The number of coins seen in one photo is the number offered regardless of what the envelope says. Envelopes have the collector's original catalog notes on them, which may or may not be accurate. I have no way of assessing that. Please use the images as the ultimate guide in your decision making process.
