    Description

    This gorgeous art deco 1930s ladies cigarette case is crafted in solid 14K gold. The tiny hallmarks on the inside read "5" and "CAS". The 14K gold content has been positively confirmed through acid testing. The exterior features a lovely simple linear deco design. The clasp is set with a pink ruby oval cabochon measuring 3.8mm (L) x 2.6mm (W) x 1.6mm (D) for a total estimated carat weight of approx. 0.17CT. The ruby has been professionally verified as genuine using a presidium gem tester. The exterior dimensions of the case when closed are: 88mm (L) x 51.8mm (Width excluding ruby clasp protrusion) x 12mm (depth). The hinge and clasp / lock are in excellent working order and the case is in pristine overall condition - has been lovingly preserved for a long time and likely never used. No dings or scratches.
