    Description

    Central Asia
    Bukhara mint
Bukhara, a city along the silk road, located in what is now Uzbekistan.
Bukhar Khudat type drachm.  Bukhar Khudat drachms were struck at Bukhara for about 4 centuries.  The design imitates a Sasanian Varhran V (420-438AD) drachm from the Merv mint.
This type was struck after the Islamic conquest, under the 'Abbasid Caliphate, with both Soghdian and Arabic inscriptions.  It cites the caliph
    al-Mahdi (
AD 775-785), though likely struck for about a century after al-Mahdi's death.
    Obv:  Crowned bust right;
    al-mahdi
    to upper left
Rev:  Fire flanked by attendants; bust right in flames.
    2.40 grams, 25 mm

    COMBINED POSTAGE:
USA: flat fee per package, no additional postage for additional coins.
Worldwide: charged at actual cost (though eBay) per package, price should be the same or nearly the same no matter how many coins.
    30 day returns.
All coins unconditionally guaranteed genuine without time limit.
Do not pay until it is time to ship:
If you think you might buy additional items within the next week, you should pay when you are done with all of your purchases.   In order to maintain a preferred commission schedule, eBay expects me to ship items within one day of receiving payment. When I receive payment I ship as soon as possible.
Ebay may not automatically apply combined postage.
I will send invoices when needed.  If I don't, just ask for an invoice with combined postage.  If you pay for your items without the combined postage, I can just refund the extra.
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS, PLEASE NOTE:  Direct international shipping is calculated by eBay at actual cost.
In general, the price for an international package is around .
It may cost a lot less for people in other countries to send the same package to me, but that is my cost from where I am.  There may also be a problem with with eBay combining postage when buying multiple coins.   Postage to most international locations should be the same for one coin or multiple coins.  It doesn't matter how many coins in the shipment, the postage should be pretty much the same as for one coin.  If it is significantly higher, then ask for an invoice with combined postage and I will provide one.
