These Mirrors Will not Hold Up to Highway Speeds The Mirrors Will Fall off at around 55-60 MPH.
If you do not remove the mirrors prior to trailering you machine the mirrors will detach from you machine when moving at a high rated of speed. I have other listings for mirrors with stronger magnets however they are just as likely to detach from your machine when traveling at a high rate of speed.
Whatever type of Heavy Equipment you own these mirrors will make it much safer to back up, haul trailers, mow, or complete your work safely and with ease.
I have other listings for magnetic mirrors including all metal powder coated mirrors and vinyl coated magnets to protect the finish yet retain the strength to keep the mirrors attached to your equipment. The large rubber coated magnets are 14lbs-28lbs even with the larger surface area they can’t hold on like these. And the vinyl coated have even stronger magnets at 100lbs per magnet anything stronger would be dangerous.
If you need stronger magnets see my other listings with magnets rated all the way to 200 lbs per mirror. To protect the finish of your equipment they are coated with a thin vinyl coating if you want to remove the coating simply peel it off. I’ve never needed anything stronger than these but they are available.

HOW MAGNETS ARE RATED
Magnets are rated by putting 2 identical magnets together + to - and measuring the amount of force necessary to separate them. The measured force is direct pull because it is measured by separating the magnets from their strongest point directly pulling them apart with no side to side movements.
When attached to metal the magnets achieve full holding force when attached to 1/2” thick steel. So these magnets will not hold on a 200lb mirror it would be closer to 100lb and everything changes that number like the thin coating on the magnets the paint covering the steel you attach the mirror to or how thick the metal is, if there’s a sticker where you attach it. All those little things add up to a reduction in the magnets strength.
I just don’t want anyone to think that I am trying to make buyers believe that it will take 200lbs of force to remove the mirror from your tractor. I am just listing the actual magnetic rating given to these magnets by the Dept of weights and measurements. I did not make up the rating.
With that said I personally use all the mirrors that I have listed and only sell the ones that I am personally satisfied with.
