    This coin is believed to have been issued in
    Shakya Republic
    , ancient Indian Janapada, in circa
    600-500 BC
    .
    The republic was located on
    Indo-Nepal border area
    .  Its capital was
    Kapilavastu
    City, where
    Prince Gautama
    Siddartha
    had lived
    until he left the palace at the age of 29.
    The Narhan Hoard was found from Ghagra-Gandak River Valley area.
    There are several types in Narhan Hoard type coins.
    Some of them were
    minted
    in the time of Buddha's life.
    Silver Five Shana.     Made with a thick silver plate.
    Very clearly struck.  Nice condition.   Very Attractive.
