This needle felting kit is the perfect way to learn the art of sculptural needle felting. Step-by-step photo instructions make it simple to create your own needle felted Orca / Killer Whale.
Needle Felting Kits are rated as either "Easy" or "Intermediate". The "Easy" kits are super easy and the "Intermediate" kits have more steps involved and will take more time to complete but they really aren't that much more difficult. Really! Expect to spend one to two hours to complete this needle felted animal.
All kits include 2 new felting needles and include almost everything you need. You will need a foam pad or sponge to use as a work surface. Foam pads are sold separately and will last through many, many projects. Since each kit includes 2 sharp, barbed, felting needles the manufacturer recommends them for ages 10 and up. Younger children have been very successful with needle felting but adult supervision is highly recommended for anyone under the age of 13.

There is enough wool roving in this kit to make 1 - 2 orcas about 3-4" long and the skill level is rated EASY.
